I am an original couple shipper in dramas. In the end, I hope these tandems stick together :) Even though the husbands here are portrayed as cold, calculating and sometimes mean and unappreciative of thier wives, you can't help but also admire them for the things they do. Women are really super. They will do everything they could for the ones they love, while on the other hand men are weak and vulnerable at times, often blind sided by others.

King Dalsoo & Queen Jiae

They're really good to see together. I feel the warm, fuzzy, familial vibes with them. The way the two without even showing that much physical contacts but with the simple kiss, or hug, you can really see how they have this chemistry. Jiae will do everything just so her husband can climb up the corporate ladder, Dalsoo will do everything in his will to support his family. They have not much money, but all together they are happy. When Dalsoo got his job, then the problems starts kicking in. Dalsoo then gets attracted to Suhyoon, and when Jiae finds out they were shattered. I still hope in the end these two find a way back to each other and Dalsoo comes back to his senses and Jiae forgives him and take him back.

King Taejoon & Queen Suhyoon

They had an arranged marriage. Taejoon never really loved her. But from the beginning Suhyoon really wanted to be loved, as she seemed to have real feelings towards him. He never gave him the chance, instead blaming her always and being cruel to her. So then Suhyoon finds another man to hold on to and someone who can be there when she needs him the most. I think they also have a chemistry together, but then they got divorced but after that they became more friendlier towards each other. I do still have hope that in the end these two stick together even though they got divorced and realized that the ones they like are happily married and not interfere with the other's lives.

King Joonhyuk & Queen Bongsoon

Bongsoon liked Joonhyuk eversince she saw him but Jiae dated him so she made a plan to break them up. That was how mad she was in love with him. Joonhyuk never seemed to forget Jiae his first love, so Bongsoon went to the extreme to get plastic surgery and learned everything she can to be the perfect wife for him. But he never seemed to appreciate her, and when he found out, she was behind him and Jiae's breakup he was mad at her than ever. It looks like Bongsoon was in a one-sided love. She did all she had to do to make him content and happy but she never even got love or affection in return. But when she had to have a major surgery and did not let his husband knew about it, he rushed to her and all she needed was a hug and assurance from him. I hope in the end, they will become happier, because they really seemed to be alike and perfect for each other all they got to do is stop living in the past and move on.

She is the youngest daughter of the founder of Queens Group and her husband is the company president of Queens Food.
She married her husband under an arranged marriage set up by her parents to solidify the merger of her in-law’s company with her family’s company.

At home, her husband shows no interest in sex but he carries on multiple affairs. So So-hyun has a sixth sense for sniffing out cheating husbands. After having had enough of her husband’s infidelity, she shocks her husband with an explicit ultimatum.

I loved both these movie, I love movies that shows femme power, you know heroines. I love those kind of movies, where the women kicks ass and all and can fight with men. I must be a feminist.. heehee. And I look up to these kind of women, strong, sophisticated and all. I can tell why. Its just that I grew up without an older sister and most of the time in my childhood my parents were real busy so is my mother so I pretty much had no one to look up to, altho I really admire my mother, she's also a strong person and sophisticated not to mention very smart, so yes this is why I really like the much them actresses [이영애, 최지우, 이혜영, 엄정화, 김혜수]

Dalja's Spring on GMA 7 -- FINALLY !

Finally Dalja's Spring has arrived on Pinoy TV ! and darnit they're one year late. GRRR ! Dalja's Spring was shown on Korean TV on KBS from Jan-March 2007... look at the calendar its already JUNE 2008~ I've waited one year for this...?! AGGGGHH! When actually after some months of Coffee Prince being aired in Korea, GMA bought the rights to it and aired it on Pinoy TV after some, what, I dont remember 2-3 months perhaps? When actually Dalja's Spring is much, much more better than Coffee Prince. I'm not actually a hater/lover of CP, I'm in between since I've seen it and liked it but never addicted to it. Even though my mom loved it, my sis was crazy for it and my dad even was hooked to it for sometime. But nothing can compare to Dalja's Spring! Beat that. Okay, what a way to start off another post by ranting after being absent for some years. Hehe. I'm just spazzed out that Dalja's Spring is finally, finally, looooooong overdue being shown and graced pinoy TV. I'm never a big fan of tagalized/dubbed korean dramas (Except that if i really like it, i'll watch) But then again, Originals can never be better since sometimes dubbed dramas here are so far from the original... but its way more better nowadays I think.

And GMA had better dubbed it properly or very same with the original korean lines becoz I swear I'd sure flip out everyday if I hear a wrong/far-fetched dubbing becoz I've seen DJS on dvd for 10x already God knows I've almost memorized it's korean lines already.. Not bragging though but it's this much I love DALJA'S SPRING ! ^^

Back to the topic!!! I'm really plugging DALJA'S SPRING it starts on Monday, June 2 so watch out for it on GMA Telebabad ! Yes I'm a filipino gal who loves is obssessed with too much korean entertainment so yeah.

After gazillion years, I finally updated. Things kept me off blogging for awhile.. I mean months. Studies and all, but still I kept in touch with K-Entertainment. Probem is dont have time since too much work/studies to do and all I watched was Kimchi Cheese Smile. I dropped all the dramas I was watching becoz obviously a sitcom alone
and a daily one requires attention (at least for me)

Anyway It has finally ended. July 23, 2007-January 18,2008. I dont care if KCS is uder-rated, attention deprived and had poor ratings. For me it is the bestest, warmest, very good sitcom I have seen.... yet.

And i'm in withdrawal symptoms. From this day onward its 코끼리 already but I dont know If I'll ever watch a sitcom this way again.

For now, I'm still coping with KCS Withdrawal symptoms, the need to rewatch episodes and still linger on. Also welcoming the thought of finally finishing all those dramas I dropped.
Hopefully If I have time... 
it was hard watching KCS despite the laughters it made. It made me nervous (with all the confusing/complicated lovelines at first) the mystery of the characters and hidden motives, the somewhat agitating love triangles that made me anxious, the nervewrecking rivalries despite the giggly lovelines, warm familial relationships and cordial friendships of the characters.
